Bought these boots in the summer when it was too hot to wear, so when I took them on vacation with me to Colorado, they had not been worn at all. Went exploring by the river and stepped in at the edges and my feet remained dry. They were as comfortable as if I’d been wearing them always. They needed no breaking in. Have had many strangers come up to me to tell me how cute my boots are! I am very satisfied with these boots and plan to buy more. I like that not many people have them though because that’s also why they’re so cool. Plus I love the fact that this company has a mission to help the elephants, I get to (in a very small way) be a part of that.
